Meet The Providers

Dr. Katie Usher

Hi! My name is Katie Usher, and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2011 with my Bachelor's degree in Health Education & Behavior and in 2015 from the University of Miami with my DPT. My passion for women's health grew as I entered the hospital-based outpatient system and found how underserved women are in the prenatal and postpartum period. This passion drove me to create my own business to cater to these mama’s, and was only strengthened after having my own daughter in early 2019. My mission is to help create a standard of care around women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy, specifically in the prenatal and postpartum population.

Bobbi Cothiere

My name is Bobbi Cothiere and I am an occupational therapist located in sunny Jupiter, Florida! I graduated with my B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and my M.S. in OT from Towson University. Following graduation, I was eager to apply what I learned and have practiced in a variety of different settings (outpatient rehabs, schools, and hospitals) treating patients of all ages through various orthopedic injuries, neurological deficits, and developmental conditions.

As I've thought more about my line of work, I've been drawn to making a difference with those that may have otherwise thought they've had to live a life in silence regarding taboo topics or conditions related to pelvic health. I want to teach clients to regain control over their bodies and allow them to engage in activities of daily living that are meaningful and purposeful to them using a biopsychosocial, holistic approach. Other interests and areas of work include aquatic therapy, lactation consulting, and infant development to help further the continuum of care in women's health.

I am so thrilled to start collaborating with Dr. Katie Usher and to be a part of her team at Kaizen Pelvic Wellness.

Dr. Nina Chiabo

My name is Nina Chiabo and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in 2004 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. I then went on to become a Certified Manual Therapist through North American Institute of Manual Therapy in 2017. I am passionate about women’s health, with focus on physical therapy during prenatal and postpartum. After having 2 children, I gained first hand knowledge about the importance of safely returning to exercise and sports. In New Jersey, I co-founded Stroll'nSanity, in 2021, which is a parent/ child outdoor exercise class designed for postpartum mothers to return safely to exercise while bonding with their baby. In 2023, my family and I located from New Jersey to Palm Beach Gardens. I am dedicated to educating other moms how to protect their new bodies and rebuild a strong foundation. I look forward to continuing to empower women here in Florida, with the Kaizen team, and beyond!

Dr. Alexa Bianco

My name is Alexa Bianco and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2018 with my B.S. in Health Sciences and Anthropology and in 2021 from the Nova Southeastern University with my DPT. I have always had an interest in pelvic floor physical therapy while completing my graduate program but my interest grew when I experienced my own pelvic floor dysfunction. It was this experience of working with a wonderful pelvic floor physical therapist that my passion for the specialty grew. Despite this, I started my career working in Inpatient and Acute Hospital settings working with patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other high-acuity diagnoses. My passion for the pelvic floor specialty was reignited when I became involved in competitive Olympic Weightlifting and noticed how many individuals experience pelvic floor dysfunction within this sport. My goal is to help empower individuals in all phases of their lives but primarily those who participate in athletics and strength sports. My hope is to help normalize conversations surrounding healthy pelvic floors especially in athletic spaces and assisting those do what they love, healthily, for a long time. I am so excited to be a part of this incredible team at Kaizen Pelvic Wellness and serve this community.
